Bartra Social Housing Summary

Bartra intends to be one of the largest providers of Social Housing in Ireland. The Irish Government has set an ambitious target of an additional 47,000 new social homes by 2021, a significant portion of which (>3,000 homes) will be leased by local authorities under a standardised 25 year Enhanced Lease. Bartra will develop new high quality, custom built homes to be leased by local authorities under this scheme. Bartra intends to provide in excess of 1,000 of social homes over the next 3 to 5 years, requiring an investment of between €300 million and €400 million.

Bartra has put in place an experienced multi-disciplinary team to deliver its existing pipeline of five projects/340 homes, requiring an investment of €60 million. Bartra is focused on achieving the highest standards of quality and efficiency at all stages of development, from site acquisition to design of homes, to construction management and operation of completed units.
